Quiz: Algebra

You are reminded that an Algebra Quiz (Topic 4) has been scheduled next week.

To ensure that you are prepared adequately, do look through your e-Notes and review through the notes you wrote.

This quiz will be 50 minutes, equivalent to one period.

Understanding: Linear Equations

This is the question on page 90.

Understanding: Linear Graphs

As the class gets more interested in the understanding of linear graphs, I hope to clarify some doubts on the first two questions in your notes.

Have you done the last two questions correctly?

Before I forgot, you will need to complete a question on conclusion of the four graphs. And so, the question is...

From the four questions above, what can you conclude about the solving of equation and the graphical representation?

As promised, the solution for Question 3 of page 90 (Notes) is as uploaded. The understanding of reciprocals is very important!

Notice: Classroom Observation

As mentioned in class, there will be a formal classroom observation by the Subject Head of Mathematics somewhere between these two weeks.

To prepare you adequately, you are to ensure:
(1) your notes are written neatly and all required information are in it.
(2) your Math file is done up with accordance to the content page I shared.
(3) your content page is filled up correctly.

You are to be prepared for this as I assure you that he will be checking these items.
